Alexa Stirling Women's Intercollegiate Invitational

Atlanta Athletic Club is preparing to host some of the nation’s elite college programs from October 26-28 in the inaugural Alexa Stirling Women’s Intercollegiate Invitational, honoring the Georgia native, a three-time U.S. Women’s Amateur champion and member of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame.

Louisville and Kennesaw State tied for a team title last year at AAC, with both returning to headline an 11-school field that also features Georgia, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Mercer, Virginia Tech, Dartmouth, Indiana, Auburn, and Maryland.

The three-day event kicks off with a junior clinic on Thursday, October 25, at the R.T. Jones Instruction Center. Juniors and adults are welcome and encouraged to attend. The clinic provides an opportunity to meet and hear from some of the country’s best female collegiate golfers and coaches about drills they use to help sharpen their game.

That night, to help kick off the event, rising country music artist Corbette Jackson will perform during the ceremonial welcome dinner.
