The R.T. Jones, Jr. Golf Instruction Center

The R.T. Jones, Jr. Instruction Center is a state-of-the-art, indoor/outdoor year-round golf instruction center with a top-notch teaching and learning program. Three full-time golf instructors teach the game to golfers of all ages and levels on eight covered hitting bays and two indoor video stations. Director of Instruction Chan Reeves is a PGA member and former All-American at Georgia Tech. Teaching professional Jimmy Harris is a PGA member and is a certified club fitter. 

Extensive clubfitting services are available featuring multiple manufacturers' systems as well as a launch monitor. In addition, AAC has an extensive junior golf program. The junior program is supplemented by a sports-specific golf fitness training room at the club's Athletic Center. Junior Golf Leader Chris Moore is ranked nationally as one of the top golf instructions for children.

Practice Range

The 16 – 20-acre practice facility features 62 hitting stations at the north and south end tees offering year-round practice on numerous types of shots golfers encounter on the course. Two practice putting greens, four practice pitching/chipping greens, two practice bunker greens and a fairway practice bunker add to the mix.

Par 3 Course - 9 Holes

Enjoy a shorter yet challenging course at Atlanta Athletic Club's Par 3 Course. Spread over 10 acres, the Par 3 Course features greens of Champion Ultra Dwarf Bermuda and fairways and rough of Tifway 419. The tees on the Par 3 Course are Tifgrand.
